DoodleBug was a self-published comic put together with a group of friends and contributors. It ran between 1987 and 1989 and built up a healthy following, getting some good reviews. Record Mirror said "mainman Royston is making a name for himself as Britain's most happening young comic mogul". I'm still waiting for that to come true ...
